About Sarah

I live and work New York City and Los Angeles. I was born on the East Coast and studied photography at New York University. I took my first photography class in high school and spent every moment possible in the darkroom.

I began my career as a photo editor and have worked at various magazines including Mother Jones, Chow, and The Los Angeles Times Magazine.

Every day and every shoot is extraordinarily fun because I can't believe how lucky I am to do what I'm doing. I try to reveal what is real, joyous, playful, and thoughtful about my subjects.

I have two black and white tabby cats, Gary and Clairey.
